Designed for children under 5 years old, WEE Arts classes develop a young child’s familiarity with art making and encourage experimentation, exploration, and creative thinking. This program is designed to be a multisensory experience that encourages the development of gross and fine motor skills, as well as socialization and self-expression.

CMA offers quarterly registered classes that provide you with a weekly, regular WEE Arts session. These small classes also allow you to get to know other families, fostering a sense of community. Each class is developmentally appropriate for the age indicated. Look for your child’s age below to find the best class for you.
Please note: We encourage parents of WEE Plus and PhD of WEE classes to drop off their children, though they are welcome to stay if they wish or remain close by in another part of the museum. To ensure the quality of each class and the growth of it’s students we ask that the following age requirements are adhered to:
Early Birds, 9:15 to 10:30 AM
Choose from: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday
This class explores art materials such as play dough, paint, and chalk, as well as storytelling and music time. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to model parallel learning with their young artists throughout the class. Limited to 16 families.
After Naps, 4 to 5:15 PM
Choose from: Monday or Wednesday
This class explores art materials such as play dough, paint, and chalk, as well as storytelling and music time. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to model parallel learning with their young artists throughout the class. Limited to 16 families.
WEE Plus, 10:45-11:45 AM

Parents and caregivers are encouraged to model parallel learning with their young artists throughout the class. There is no sign up or preregistration for drop in classes.
