Children’s Museum of the Arts

Join CMA in celebrating the rich arts and culture of NYC’s Caribbean American community. This festival will include a variety of performing and visual art experiences to teach families and children about traditional and contemporary arts of the Caribbean culture. The featured guest artist for the Caribbean Festival will be master Haitian drummer Gaston Jean-Baptiste, known as Bonga, and his drum and dance troupe. The day will also feature drumming workshops, an exploration of mask-making traditions, storytelling, and more.
