Schools

CMA is committed to ensuring all children have access to the arts. As part of that commitment, we provide quality arts instruction to schools, camps, and community centers across NYC. CMA’s school-based programs include group visits to the museum, in-school residencies in your classroom, and professional development for educators. CMA is a NYC Department of Education arts education vendor.

School and Camp Group Visits

Group visits allow for schools and camps to experience a personalized, educational museum visit.

In-School Residencies

CMA provides in-school artist residencies for Pre-K to 10th grade classrooms. Bringing hands-on instruction into classrooms, we help students and teachers find creative ways to express themselves and achieve their artistic and academic goals.

Professional Development

CMA provides workshops and professional development for administrators, educators, parents, and caregivers.

Teacher Resources

CMA's Teaching Artists design creative curricula that connects back to our exhibitions and can be implemented in school classrooms all over the country.
