Young artists are invited to make art with Children's Museum of the Arts during a free community studio day hosted at Chelsea Factory. Participating children will have the opportunity to explore different art materials, movements, and approaches under the mentorship of CMA's Artists in Residence.
Completed work can be submitted to be featured in The Lemonade Stand, a selling exhibition of children's artworks on view at NADA New York art fair in May 2023. All proceeds benefit CMA's Emergency Arts Education Fund, which places artists directly into schools, instantly. The Lemonade Stand serves a blueprint for transforming the art world into a more inclusive community that celebrates and platforms the voices of NYC’s most emerging artists.
This event is recommended for ages 12 and under.
