Blaise Sparda is an independent visual artist based in New York City. They have extensive experience teaching stop-motion animation programs with Children's Museum of the Arts at PS 106X The Parkchester School and at fellow partner schools including PS 52K Sheepshead Bay and PS 347 American Sign Language School. Hailing from Trinidad and Tobago, Sparda’s art navigates the spaces between two disparate worlds. In their practice, they are inspired by the spiritual technology of their ancestors such as tarot and use both physical and digital mediums in their art.
