Kervens Dewar (he/him) is a classically-trained singer, songwriter, and community activist with a passion for education reform. Originally from Astoria, he went to elementary school in Westchester before studying political science at The New School, focusing on how to tackle structural inequality in local NYC communities throughout the 5 boroughs. His career aspirations are driven by a desire to see students succeed by building their self-confidence and emotional intelligence to supplement their education.
