To NYC kids who missed out on Halloween last year during the pandemic — this one's for you!
Put on your favorite costume (and mask!) and join Children's Museum of the Arts for an afternoon of outdoor family-friendly art-making on Saturday, October 30 from 12 PM to 4 PM at Spring Street Park in Hudson Square.
Ghosts, ghouls, witches, and warlocks (and their equally spooky caregivers!) will have the incredible opportunity to assist CMA Artists in Residence in creating art for CMA's float in the Village Halloween Parade the following day — Halloween! Music will be provided by DJ Natalie of Baby DJ School alongside DJ Sebastian (age 8), DJ Fernando (age 10), and DJ Vivy (age 10).
Activities include:
All Hallow's Eve Ornaments
Creepy Coloring Books
Tombstone Poetry
Artist-Carved Pumpkins
Exquisite Halloween Corpse
Jumbo Origami
Harvest Printmaking
Witch's Cauldron Prints
Mask-Making Masquerade
Dazzling Hats
Magic Wand Making
Monster Collages
Drawing with Leaves
plus a Costume Catwalk!
Programs at Children's Museum of the Arts are supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
