Sydney Barton is a graduate of Pratt Institute, where she earned a BFA in Art and Design Education and her New York State teaching license for Visual Arts. She has years of experience in the education field, ranging from teaching PreK and Visual Art for grades Pre-K through 12, working as a behavioral therapist for students with disabilities, managing summer arts camps, and private art tutoring. In her free time, Sydney loves to paint, do yoga, and spend time near the ocean.
"One of my favorite things to do as a child was 'make paint' out of flowers from our yard. My sister and I would spend hours collecting flowers and grass and leaves, separate them by color into little cups, and crush them up. Some of them actually worked pretty well!"
